He has more than 30 years of courtroom experience, winning verdicts and settlements for motorcyclists and others injured through no fault of their own. Outside of the courtroom Tom is just as passionate about riding and defending your right to ride. In 1992 he founded the Virginia Coalition of Motorcyclists (vcomonline.org), a political action committee dedicated to promoting and defending the rights of Virginia motorcyclist at the General Assembly and elsewhere. Tom s legal fees provide much of the support for VCOM.

When the City of Myrtle Beach enacted ordinances in order to drive the motorcycle rallies away Tom filed suit and eventually had these anti-motorcyclist ordinances declared unlawful.

Tom is a graduate of Belmont Abbey College and the University of South Carolina School of Law. He is licensed to practice in Virginia, South Carolina, and Tennessee. He sits on the Virginia Governor s Motorcycle Advisory Council and the Commonwealth Transportation Safety Board.
